William (Bill) J. Philpot, Jr.

William (Bill) J. Philpot, Jr., age 73, passed away on October 9, 2012 surrounded by family. He was born in Siloam Springs, AR on October 16, 1938. Bill grew up in Galena Park and graduated from Galena Park High School before eventually moving to the Houston area where he worked and retired from Simpson Paper. Bill enjoyed hunting, guns, and fishing, but he especially loved spending time with his many grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Cornelia Philpot; and sisters, Nelle Patton and Birdie Reeder. He is survived by his children, Billy Philpot III, Brian and Christie Philpot, Becky and Ronnie Mosher, Matthew and Jessica Philpot, and Patrick and Kelli Philpot; grandchildren, Luke, Lila, Hannah, Zach, and Madison; twin sister, Betty Brown and sisters, Lois Zinnecker and Inez Dickey; and numerous relatives and friends.
