Wanda Ake

Wanda Drake, age 70, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013. She was born on January 21, 1943 in Newark, Texas and graduated from Aldine High School. She worked for many oil and gas companies before retiring with Anadarko Petroleum in 2011. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Raymond and Lizzie Belle Hulsey, and is survived by her children, James Irwin and wife Kathy, Becky Coker and husband Buddy, Teresa Horton, and Keith Drake and wife Susan; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchild; brother, Weston Hulsey and wife Debbie; and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier at Wilson Rd, Suite 115, Conroe, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Living Way United Methodist Church, 17555 Highway 242, Conroe, Texas 77302. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Salter, William Salter, Christian Horton, John Irwin, and Glen Wallis. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas.
