Trina Loraine Lowe, born July 21, 1977, passed away on June 16, 2025. She was 47 years old. Trina grew up in the Nacogdoches area, where she graduated from high school in 1996. After high school, she earned her CNA license and later pursued her passion for helping children by studying child psychology, ultimately receiving her degree.
Trina was known for her boundless love of the outdoors. She especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting wild hogs with the Hart men. Her fearless spirit extended to her fondness for snakes—never one to shy away from nature’s wild side. She had a knack for finding treasures at rummage sales and a deep, unwavering love for her five children: Trevor, Gary, Haylee, Joyce, and Sammy. Trina was a jokester at heart, always making people laugh with her loud, contagious—sometimes devious—laugh that everyone loved and will remember forever.
She adored her dogs and found immense joy in the little things—family time, a good laugh, and the warmth of those around her. Trina had a big heart and an unmatched ability to see the good in people. She never missed a chance to lovingly pick on her Uncle Abel Martinez, a favorite target of her playful teasing.
Trina is preceded in death by her grandparents: Arlo F. and Edna M. Wade (maternal) and Roy B. and Zettie Loraine Lowe (paternal). She had a special bond with her Aunt Diane and cousin William Toby Martinez
She is survived by the love of her life, Donald Hart Jr., her parents, Terry L. and James M. Mott; her father, Ricky Burton Lowe; her cherished children Trevor, Gary, Haylee, Joyce, and Sammy; and her beloved grandson, Donald Hart III. She also leaves behind Donald Sr. and Kathy Hart, David and Naomi Hart, and Kimberly Hart.
She shared a deep connection with her Uncle Dennis R. Lowe, who held a special place in her heart. Her Aunt Dawn R. Martinez was a cherished figure in her life, often prompting Trina to say, “I need to go get me some Aunt Dawn time.”
Trina was especially grateful for her cousin Tonya M. Higdon, who supported her through difficult times in 2023. Tonya became a rock for the family, and Trina deeply appreciated her love and care.
In her early years, Trina formed a lifelong friendship with Amanda and Angie—the inseparable trio who proudly called themselves “The Three Musketeers.”
She leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly and will carry her memory in their hearts.
Trina’s light, laughter, and love will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed.
