It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Tracy Nadine Macey, who peacefully departed this world on January 15, 2025, at her sister’s house in Friendswood, TX, surrounded by her family.
Tracy was born on December 21, 1960, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Ralph E. Breland and Patricia A. Breland. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Hospitality, earning a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In 2017, Tracy proudly took over the ownership of Breland Pest Control from Patricia Breland, bringing both dedication and care to her work.
A creative soul with many passions, Tracy found joy in cross-stitching, refinishing furniture, cooking, and indulging in her love of true crime documentaries. Known for her playful spirit, she enjoyed games like MonopolyGo and often added a personal touch of “bling” to her wardrobe. Her fondness for Dr. Pepper was well known to all. Tracy’s warm and generous nature brought joy and beauty to her life and the lives of those around her.
Tracy is survived by her beloved son, Blake S. Christensen; her cherished dogs, Una and Axel; her dear siblings, Roxanne Fowles, Russell Craig Breland, and Steve Breland; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends. Her kindness, warmth, and willpower touched the lives of many, and her memory and strength will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM on January 23, 2025, at First Baptist Church Alta Loma, located at 5400 FM 646 Rd, Santa Fe, TX 77510.
