William Timothy Long Sr. (Tim Long), 68, passed away on April 11th, 2015 at his home in The Woodlands, TX. He was the husband of Pamela Long (Deceased). Prior to her passing in 2011, they shared 36 years of marriage together.
Born in Houston, TX in 1946, he was the son of L.E. and Madge Long. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1970. He worked for The Ashton Company from 1983 until 2010 as their number one salesman. He then went to work for Mirrorcle Frames, the company his sons helped start, from 2010 through 2014.
He was a member of WoodsEdge Community Church, and was a large financial contributor to his favorite ministry, Village Schools International. He will be remembered most by his incredible work ethic, his love and concern for his family and others, his deep rooted faith in Jesus Christ, his quirky sayings that we would say over, and over, and over again… because after all “Repetition is the mother of skill”, as well as his laughter and sense of humor.
He is survived by his three children; Tara Hutton, Timothy Long Jr., and Jonathan Long as well as their spouses Kyle, Tanya, and Britanie and his seven grandchildren; Brooks, Casen, Carter, Ty, Tatum, Preslie, and Brilyn.
Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Village Schools International: P.O. Box 1929 Tomball, Texas 77377.
Services entrusted to Eickenhorst Funeral Services.
