Thomas (Tom) Richard Jacobs, 66, was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on May 1, 2025, in Montgomery, Texas. He was born on April 1, 1959, in Scranton, Pennsylvania to his parents John and Anita Jacobs.
When Tom was a young man he loved ice hockey, riding horses and playing football. One of his favorite childhood memories was going to his Mausie and Pap Pap’s farm where they picked fresh strawberries for strawberry shortcake as a special treat before dinner. He graduated from Klein High School in 1977. He was employed by Harris County and worked his way up to Building Superintendent, and later he entered the private sector in the underground pipe and dirt industry. At the time of his passing, he was the CEO of Triple J Enterprises LLC.
He was a member of Lone Star Cowboy Church, as well as the Montgomery County Fair Association where he volunteered countless hours of time to the youth in the community. He was also a proud member of Tres Dias.
He would proudly say his greatest accomplishment would be his children and grandchildren and loved spending any time he had with them. He loved building our houses throughout the years, hunting and fishing, as well as spending time watching the Houston Astros and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tom leaves behind his treasured wife Kathi, his daughter Jessica and husband Kyle and child Cameron; daughter Ashley and husband Derrick and children Beckam, Brooklynn and Kasen; son Ricky and wife Lynsey and children Ryker, Grissom, and Burks; his mother Anita; his brother Jack and wife Jeanne and children, his sister Linda and children; and beloved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father John Jacobs, sister Wendy and her husband Mike Bain.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Lone Star Cowboy Church, 21627 Eva St, Montgomery, TX 77356. There will be a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. The family asks that everyone wear their Astros gear and, or comfortable clothes for the service.
