Suzanne Lee Bowman

April 25, 1943 — May 12, 2013

Suzanne, beloved mother, grandmother, extended family member, friend and Realtor entered into the kingdom of Heaven on May 12, 2013 with her family at her side. Born in St. Louis, MO on Easter Sunday, April 25, 1943, to James R. Bradley and Daisy Smith Bradley, Suzanne resided in Spring, TX but lived most of her life in Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Richard Thomas (Tom) Bradley. Suzanne took great pride in her work as a Realtor, both in Missouri and in Texas. She helped many clients achieve their real estate goals and became a trusted friend through the process. Suzanne served as a mentor to guide others in the real estate profession and enjoyed sharing her many years of experience with fellow Realtors. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the Houston Association of Realtors. Suzanne's children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were a lifelong source of joy for her. She delighted in their achievements, hoped for their happiness and stood loyally beside them as they lived their lives. Suzanne leaves behind her two children, Charles A. Bowman III and Deanna G. Bowman; her loving daughter-in-law, Nancy Bowman; and her beloved granddaughters, Brooklyn Bowman and Katelyn Bowman. She also leaves her long-term partner, Charles Wetzel, and her extended relatives, the Nichols, Swisher, Smith and Bradley families, who she loved very dearly. Suzanne achieved many milestones in her career and her community but her greatest accomplishment is the love that she shared with her family and friends. Her love will carry us forward and will live constantly in our hearts. Friends are invited to visit starting at 12 noon on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at The Ark Church, 450 Humble Tank Road, Conroe, TX 77304, before a 1 pm funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzanne's memory made to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
