Steve Wilkerson, Jr.

Bro. Steve Wilkerson Jr. passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2011. He was born on February 19, 1936 in Conroe to Steve and Blanche Brown Wilkerson. He was the first born of ten siblings. At an early age, Steve accepted Christ and united with East Side Church of Christ where he accepted his calling to the ministry.Steve was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Sarah Lee Robinson, Lena Mae Phoenix and Ruth Marie Sanders; and his brother, Thomas Wilkerson. He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Lucy Abram and Paulin Cheatham (Milton); brothers, Andrew Wilkerson, David Wilkerson (Cordia) and James Wilkerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
