Shirley A. Stebbins

Shirley A. Stebbins, age 81, passed away on November 4, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1934 in Waco, Texas, where she grew up and married the love of her life, Sherman Stebbins, on April 19, 1961. Shirley was active with her family and friends. She loved to go camping, go to the lake, fishing and playing cards and bingo. In her later years, she enjoyed helping around her nursing home, shopping, eating out, going to Walmart and wearing all her hats. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman A. Stebbins; parents, Nader and Gladys Bood; and her brothers, Charles, Clyde, Burris Jene and Nader Bood. She is survived by her daughter, Edith Stone and husband Jimmy; daughter, Brenda Durst; son, Sherman A. Stebbins Jr.; grandchildren, Bobby Stone, Shelby Stone, Shaylee Durst and Colby Durst; sister, Mollye R. Click; and numerous nieces and nephews.
