Sherry Lynn Kimberlin

Sherry Lynn Kimberlin, 52, was wrapped into her Heavenly Father's arms February 28, 2017. Sherry is preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Price, and her father, James Kimberlin. She was born on July 15, 1964 to Fay Taylor and James Kimberlin in Alexandria, Louisiana. As a child, Sherry could be found making mud pies or rough housing with the boys. Sherry graduated from North Shore High School. Sherry spent many years in the banking industry, but found her passion in caring for those in need after she lost her father. She became a member of the Nurse Aid Registry for The Texas Health and Human Services, and received her CNA certification. Sherry is survived by her husband Keith Swatzel; Children Jamie and Cameron Swatzel; Mother Fay Taylor; Sister Janette Kimberlin; Sisters by heart Bernadette Laws and Glenda Eckler-Powell; Aunt and Uncle Doris and Alvin Brown. It was Sherry's wish that any donations or contributions to the family instead be made to the PTSD Foundation of America.
