Scott Edward Kirkdorffer, 71, slipped from his earthly bonds and entered
eternal life peacefully, while surrounded by those he so faithfully served for
the past fifty-two years on March 4, 2024.
Born in Elkhart, IN on May 13, 1952, to John Lamar Kirkdorffer and Delores
Jean Kirkdorffer.
He graduated from South Adams High School in 1970. Shortly thereafter,
he married his high school sweetheart to whom he cleaved to for the next
fifty-two years. He served his country honorably in the United States Air
Force. He served his community courageously during the decade of the
1980’s as a member of the Cut-N-Shoot Volunteer Fire Department. He
spent most of his working years at various machine shops as a CNC
Programmer and lead machinist.
Scott loved spending time with his family and rarely missed watching the
Houston sports teams, especially the Houston Astros on television.
On January 3, 2024, he prayed and received Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Scott was proceeded in death by his father John Lamar Kirkdorffer.
He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Sue Kirkdorffer of Cut-N-Shoot; Four
children, Shaun Kirkdorffer (Keya) of Houston, Jamie Emerson (Randy) of
Livingston, Brandi Welch of Conroe, Chance Kirkdorffer (Samantha) of
Montgomery;
Seven Grandsons: Brandon Emerson, Cody Emerson, Bret Dabney,
Jonathan Kirkdorffer, Joshua Kirkdorffer, Will Kirkdorffer and Ethan
Kirkdorffer;
Five Granddaughters: Kimberly Kelley (Matt), Brittiney Emerson (Bryce),
Krista Dabney, Emily Kirkdorffer, Bailey Kirkdorffer;
Three Great Granddaughters: Aubrie Kelley, Braylynn Darsey and Bryleigh
Darsey;
Mother, Delores Jean Kirkdorffer of Cut-N-Shoot; Sister, Nanette Randolph
(Steve) of Cut-N-Shoot; Brother, Tom Daily-Kirkdorffer (John) of Conroe.
Scott, dad, grandpa we miss you so very much. We love you in me heart!
