Sarah E Kavanaugh

Sarah E. Kavanaugh, age 80, passed away on May 15, 2016 at her home in Conroe. She was born on August 23, 1935 in Ft. Worth, Texas and spent her childhood in Laredo. She attended Incarnate Word Catholic School in San Antonio. She was a dedicated mother who was very active in the high school PTA , band parents, and sports booster clubs. She was especially proud of being selected as the 1994 senior class brunch coordinator for over 850 graduating seniors. She was currently a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Amado F. and Sarah L. Cavazos, and her sister, Deborah Cavazos. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Kavanaugh; daughters, Eugenia Tunstall, Sarah Lundquist, Rebecca Kavanaugh and Alison Kavanaugh; grandchildren, Kristina Tunstall, Heather Grant, Tim Tunstall, Zachary Kavanaugh, Douglas Kavanaugh and Clint Boettcher, Jr.; and her brother, Richard Cavazos.
