Sally Ann (Cimino) Freeman (September 2, 1946 – April 20, 2025)
Sally Ann Freeman, 78, of Alleyton, Texas passed away early on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey to Russell and Mamie (Montalbano) Cimino. The family moved to Houston, Texas in 1956 where she attended school, graduating from Robert E Lee High School in 1965. She worked for many years at Highland Village Bank in Houston. In 1992, Sally moved to Ozark, Missouri with her husband Lee. During her time in Missouri, Sally, Lee and the beloved cat, Ocean, traveled the United States in an 18-wheeler, seeing sights from New York to California, Canada to Mexico. Following the passing of her husband in 2009, Sally returned to Texas spending the remaining years with her daughter and grandchildren. Sally loved reading, sewing, watching “soap operas” and hanging out with Cousin Jeannette.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Cimino, SR and Mamie Montalbano Cimino, brother Joseph B Cimino, and husband, Lee D. Freeman, stepson Ed Morpeth and wife Kelly, and step grandson Mason Morpeth and is survived by daughter Heather Yudell (Tracy Leblanc) of Alleyton, Texas, stepson Bill Morpeth (Cassie) of Thornfield, Missouri, stepdaughter Kathleen Freeman of Springfield, Missouri, brother Russell Cimino (Beth) of San Antonio, Texas, Tina Wright (Kelley) of Caldwell, Texas, grandchildren Ally Davis (Elliott), Miranda, and Dalton Yudell, Cory (Dani) and Kylie Leblanc, Valerie McCoy, Cory Bengston (Andy), Levi Morpeth (Ashley), Alicia LaRue (Chance), Eli Morpeth (Shianne), numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and folks that just called her Grandma Sally.
The house will be open for a Celebration of Sally’s Life Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at her daughter Heather’s home, 1108 Notting Hill Lane, Alleyton, TX 78935.
