Ruby Ladell Linderman

Ruby Ladell Linderman Shipp, age 56, died on October 20, 2014. She was born on June 11, 1958 in Palestine, Texas where she graduated from high school. She grew up with a love of horseback riding and trail rides. Ruby attended Trinity Valley College before getting a degree in Cosmetology. She moved to the Houston area 18 years ago and met the love of her life, Roy Shipp, 8 years ago. She loved to laugh and was very easy going. She was the life of the party and was well known and loved for her cooking. Most recently, she had been a bar maid at Tooties Lounge until she decided to stay at home to be there for her family. She was a recent member of Conroe Church of God.

Ruby was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Ocie Smith; her father, Roy Linderman; and her brother, Roy Linderman. She is survived by her husband, Roy Allen Shipp; children, Rusty and Roy Rhodes, Anna and Paula Shipp and Mater; grandson, Jase Wilson; nieces, Jeanna Moore and Jamie Hinds; nephews, Ray and Donnie Pannell and Bubba Moore; best friend, Tracie Butler; and many great nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention but no less loved.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 12 noon on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church, 1115 Houston Street, Conroe, Texas 77301, where a 1 pm funeral will be held.
