Ruby Louise Fenley

Ruby Louise Rose Fenley, age 92, of Plantersville, formerly of Conroe, passed away on August 23, 2012 at her daughters home surrounded by her family. Graveside services and interment will be held at 4:30 pm on Monday, August 27, 2012 in the Kidd Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.Ruby was born on December 9, 1919 in Willis, Texas to Jefferson and Victoria Rose. She graduated from Willis High School and later married Howard Fenley. They lived in Conroe where they raised their two children.Ruby went back to school to earn her LVN license and went to work for the Montgomery County Hospital. After 20 years of service, she retired to become a grandmother. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were always close by.She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Fenley, Constable of Precinct 2 in Conroe from 1964 until 1981, and her son, H.D. Fenley. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Cheshire and husband Dean; grandson, Chad Cheshire and wife Christian; granddaughter, Anita Geiser and husband John; and great grandchildren, Drew Cheshire, Avery Cheshire, Bailey Cheshire, Ashlyn LaCarter, John Geiser Jr., Zachary Geiser and Andrew Geiser. She is also survived by Donald Fenley, his wife Gaynell and their son Dillon, Mack Fenley and his daughter Kari. Three sisters-in-law, Nora Belle Moore of Archer, Texas, Virginia Bennette of Cleveland, Texas and Laura Dell Ragsdell of Longview, Texas.
