Roy Nelson Stude

Roy Nelson Stude, 74, passed away in his home in Porter, Texas on November 4, 2016. He is proceeded in death by his parents Arthur and Margie Stude and brother Curtis Stude. Born on September 28, 1942 in St. Louis County, Missouri, Roy spent most of his childhood in Warrenton, Missouri, involved in the local 4-H Club as well as the FFA like many children in a small town. He attended and graduated from Warren County R-3 High School and enlisted in the Missouri National Guard. Roy spent most of his professional career as an Ironworker in the steel industry. He is survived by his son Roger Stude (and wife Carrie of New York); son Ronald Stude of Plano, Texas; grandchildren Cordelia, Jack, and Nathan Stude; and sister Linda Stude of Missouri. A graveside service will be held in Warrenton Cemetery in Missouri at a later date.
