Ronald T. Morgan

Ronald T. Morgan, age 71, died on Friday, May 17, 2013. He was born on April 11, 1942 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Jim Lee and Lula Mary Morgan. Ron graduated from high school in New Orleans before joining the US Army. He had worked as a records manager for numerous parking garages in Houston and for Devon Energy. He donated his free time with Texas Gulf Coast RSVP and as a coordinator for the Dacus Food Pantry with the Montgomery County Food Bank and in the Community Computer Ministry for Dacus Baptist Church, where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David Bailey, and his step son, Ronnie Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jo Morgan; children, Jody Morgan, Chris Morgan and Thomas Morgan; step children, Molly Radford, Bo Cheatham and Gary Phillips; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Ron's life will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Dacus Baptist Church, 5403 N FM 1486, Montgomery, TX 77356. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dacus Baptist Church.
