Rodney Dale Trawick, 56, of Spring, TX was called home on July 23, 2022.
He was born in Channelview, TX on August 5, 1965 to Hubert Lee Trawick Jr and Margaret (Mashburn) Trawick.
Rodney started school in LaMarque, TX and attended high school in Dickinson, TX. He married Donna Catron in 1983 and they had two children, Kristine and Jacob. They were married for 10 years.
Right out of high school, Rodney began his career as a lineman at Texas New Mexico Power Co. Over the years he worked for other companies but remained in the field until his death.
Rodney was one to march to the beat of his own drum. He was a free spirit with a gentle, caring heart. He was one to crack a joke followed by his infectious laugh. Rodney loved people. He never met a stranger. His smile is unforgettable.
His major loves were his family, his friends, his motorcycles, his yard, his garden and his dogs (Friday, Boudreaux, Trinity, Mary, Jane and Honey).
Rodney is survived by, his wife, Alana and her son Christopher; parents, Hubert Trawick Jr (Cynthia) of Magnolia, TX and Margaret Miller of Friday, TX; children, Kristine Dupre of Onalaska, TX and Jacob Trawick of Galveston, TX; siblings, Shelly Crooms (Jeff) of Dotson, TX, Tammy Shutic (Richard) of Spring, TX, Trey Trawick (Sonjia) of Smithfield, NC; nieces and nephews, Summer, Amber, Rebecca, Eric, Kimberly and Jarrett.
Rodney was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert Sr. and Lizzie Trawick, Ottis Mashburn, Ouida and Werner Kaemmerer; and his step dad, Autrey Miller.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Northside Baptist Church, 701 N FM 3083 W, Conroe, TX 77303. The Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM.
