Robert Lee Jenkins

Robert “Bob” Lee Jenkins was born on June 13, 1941, to the late Joseph Louis Jenkins and Mary Alonsa Jenkins in Durham, North Carolina. On Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Lord called him home.
He was married to Margie Marie Jenkins and had two lovely daughters: Vonda Renee Jenkins-Jones and Jacqueline Michelle Jenkins-Williams.
Bob relocated to Houston, Tx in 2014, where he became a member of Impact Church in the Woodlands. He was a proud Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. He also, provided 25 years of service as a loyal Supervisor at General Motors Company.
He was the “Motivator of Seven” grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one brother, Joe Louis Jenkins II.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Graveside and burial with full military honors will be at 1:15 PM in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038. We will line up in Lane 2 at 1:00 PM in front of the cemetery's main office building.
