Robert “Bobby” Glena, 69, of Montgomery, Texas went home to be with his Lord on August 31, 2023.
A private memorial will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Conroe, Texas.
Bobby was born in Rochester, NY on January 2, 1954, to Robert F. and Florence “Flo” Glena.
Bobby worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York before moving to Conroe, Texas where he worked for DeMontrond Buick.
Bobby loved working on cars. Figuring out what was wrong, taking it apart and repairing a vehicle brought him much joy. He loved anything dealing with computers – he could build them from scratch or just take them apart and repair.
He also loved his Ham radio! He helped whomever he could in setting up theirs up – even setting up the antenna in just the right spot made him happy. He enjoyed getting to talk to others in many states and even in different countries.
He would tell you that his greatest joy was his two daughters. He was so very proud of both of them and their accomplishments as adults.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Florence Glena of Rochester, New York; daughters, Virginia “Ginger” Ann Bellaire (Matt) of Rochester, New York and Rene’ Glena of Athens, Texas; sisters, Denise Harter (Howard) of Rochester, New York and Debbie Corsivo (Mickey) of Conroe, Texas.
