Robert V. Garling

Robert V. Garling, 60, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2012. He was born on April 4, 1951 in Cleveland, OH and grew up in Solon, OH. After moving to Texas in 1973, Bob opened The Original Bob's Tree Service and operated in the Montgomery County area for 25 years. He spent the last 6 years driving long haul across the country. Bob loved the outdoors, adorning the family's property with many beautiful plants and trees, and he had a knack for fixing any problem. Bob especially loved time spent with his granddaughters who affectionally called him "Papa".Bob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie Garling; son, Rob Garling of Splendora; daughter, Ashlee Garling of Conroe; precious grandchildren, Aaliyah and Ariel Reece of Conroe; mother, Helen C. Gerbasi of New Waverly, TX; brothers, William Garling of Conroe and Russell Gerbasi of Gilette, WY; sisters, Loraine Stiner and husband Tom of Montgomery, TX and Rochelle Allen and husband James of Coldspring, TX; numerous relatives and friends; and his beloved pets, Spooky, Freckles, Buddy, and Scooby.
