Robert Lee Brezik Jr., lovingly known as Lee, passed away on December 20, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas, surrounded by family after complications from a fall. He was 81 years old.

Lee was born on June 15, 1944, at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas, to Robert Lee Brezik Sr. and Jessie Wilma Ham. He grew up in Houston and graduated with honors from Mount Carmel High School in 1962. From an early age, Lee was curious, thoughtful, and determined—traits that would shape both his career and the way he lived his life.

Shortly after high school, Lee married Margie Sanders, and together they welcomed three children: Steve, Mike, and Janice. While raising his young family, Lee worked hard to better their future, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1971—an accomplishment he was proud of and that set the foundation for a successful career.

In 1977, Lee married the love of his life, Sylvia Parkinson, and together they built a marriage of 44 years filled with love, partnership, and adventure. Lee also embraced Sylvia’s two sons, John and Ryan, as his own, forming a blended family that meant everything to him.

Lee spent 14 years with Texas Instruments and later nine years with Compaq Computers. During his time at Compaq, he had the opportunity to relocate to Singapore, which sparked a lifelong love of travel. Lee and Sylvia explored the world together, and wherever he went, his camera was never far away. Photography became one of his great passions, and his home in Cedar Park told the story of his life through the photographs lining the walls—each one a memory of a place visited, a moment captured, or a journey shared.

Above all else, Lee loved his family. He showed that love not through grand gestures, but by simply being there—birthday parties, holidays, family gatherings, and everyday moments. He took genuine joy in watching his family grow, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

After Sylvia’s passing several years ago, Lee returned to Spring, Texas, where he bravely began a new chapter of life. He formed new friendships and rediscovered joy in simple pleasures—sharing meals, playing cards, dancing, and enjoying good company. His warmth, kindness, and easy smile made him a friend to many.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jessie Brezik; his sister, Kathleen Marcel Brezik; his beloved wife, Sylvia Brezik; and his first wife, Margie Sanders Scott.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Lee is survived by his children: Steve and wife Kimberly Brezik, Mike and wife LaDonna Brezik, Janice Brezik, John and wife Sara Parkinson, Ryan and wife Rei Parkinson; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Elizabeth and husband Gus Carmona, Jimmy and wife Jerri Brezik, and Jennifer and husband Bobby Halpen, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him deeply.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands for the care and kindness shown to Lee following his fall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Lee’s generous spirit by donating to a local charity serving the community, such as a food bank or homeless shelter.
