Rhonda Lynn Garcia, age 56, of Conroe, Texas passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was born August 29, 1965, in Houston, Texas to parents, Linda Standlee and Marvin Coats. Later Rhonda would have step-parents Margaret “Renee” Coats and Peter “Pete” Borota.
Rhonda would move around a lot in her early life when she lived with her mother, Linda Borota, and step-father, Peter “Pete” Borota. However, her home was always in Porter, Texas. She lived there with her Father, Marvin Coats, and stepmother, Margaret “Renee” Coats. She would live the majority of her life with her father and would travel to visit her mother. Rhonda worked various odd jobs as a young adult before finally graduating with a degree in Emergency Medicine from Lone Star College at the North Harris Campus. She put her new degree to good use working as an EMT. Rhonda also spent many years working as a CNA and a hospice caretaker. As Rhonda’s children got older, she eventually left the workforce to focus on motherhood and homemaking. Rhonda would attend church at the request of her mother. If you asked her, she would tell you that she most closely related with the Jehovah’s Witness faith, which she shared with her mother.
Rhonda is survived by her spouse, Norman Wyatt; children, Arinne Waller and husband Derek Waller, Juan Garcia and fiancé Cassandra Fendley, Alena McNabney and husband Joshua McNabney; grandchildren, Madelief Krul, Clarissa Tijerina, Joshua Tijerina, Merrhya Garcia, Serenity Fendley, Hazel Fendley, Jensen Fendley, Reagan Garcia, Remi Garcia, and Logan McNabney; parents, Marvin and Renee Coats; siblings, Jack Borota, Dallas Schwerdtfeger and husband Eric Schwerdtfeger, Jessica Coats, Vanessa Coats, Casey Williams, and wife Joaney Williams, and Leah Rosales.
Rhonda was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles as well as her baby sister Arminda “Mindy” Coats.
