Randy Hopkins, a devoted husband, loving father, and steadfast family man, passed away suddenly from natural causes on December 5, 2025, in Spring, Texas. Born on December 7, 1974, in Dayton, Texas, Randy grew up surrounded by a close-knit family and carried that same sense of loyalty and warmth throughout his life. He faced health challenges in recent years, including high blood pressure and receiving a pacemaker at age 40, but he continued to live with humor, resilience, and heart.
Randy was the beloved son of Marla Hopkins (Treadwell) and the late J.C. Hopkins Jr. He is survived by his two brothers, J.C. Hopkins III and Robert Hopkins, who shared in a lifetime of memories, mischief, and brotherly camaraderie.
A graduate of Tarkington High School, Randy later built a career with Allied Universal, where he was known for his reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he enjoyed life’s simple joys: bass fishing on quiet mornings, skateboarding, tinkering with cars, spending time with family, and doting on the family dog, Hera. Randy had a special way of making people laugh—often through dad jokes or good-natured teasing. If he was picking on you, you knew he loved you.
Randy’s greatest pride was his family. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 24 years, Mylissa Hopkins, whom he married on February 12, 2002; his daughter Kaytlen Hopkins, 26; and his son Alexander Hopkins, 24. His commitment to his home and family was unwavering, and his empathetic nature touched everyone who knew him.
Randy will be deeply missed, remembered for his humor, kindness, and the love he poured into those around him. His legacy lives on in the family he adored and the countless moments of laughter he gifted to others.
