Randall Scott Mills, age 63, passed away at his home in Conroe, Texas, surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 4th, 2018.
Born on February 5, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Delbert and Irene (Stockard) Mills, the family moved to Slidell, Louisiana in the spring of 1966 where Randy would later meet and marry his wife, Stacy Ann Winn on October 5, 1986. The two called Slidell home until their relocation to Conroe, Texas in 1991.
Working in his father’s muffler shop in Slidell when he was younger gave him a knack for fixing cars; and in his later years Randy became a dedicated and devoted Sergeant for both the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department in Texas. Randy was an avid Green Bay Packers fan that enjoyed spending time with his family and their dogs, tinkering with his 1965 Mustang, and fishing.
Randy is preceded in death by his father Delbert, and his mother Irene. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Stacy; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Karl Thompson; son, Matthew Mills; stepson, Chad Adams; granddaughter, Sophia Thompson; and his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Bridget Mills. Randy will also be remembered by his aunts, cousins, niece, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at First Christian Church in the Cornelius Center, 102 Christian Lane, Slidell, La. 70458
