Randall "Randy" Euel Henderson

July 11, 1950 — January 5, 2025

Randall Euel “Randy” Henderson was born July 11, 1950, in Houston, Texas to Betty Mobley and Dallas Henderson. He died unexpectedly at his home on January 5, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Growing up on the north side of Houston, his parents had a large garden every year. He began early to learn about gardening and plants, a skill he continued for life. He attended Burbank Junior High and Sam Houston High School, excelling in football. He maintained friendships with many former classmates, recently enjoying a day of visiting the old neighborhood with some of them. For many years, Randy enjoyed surfing at Galveston and Freeport. Additional interests were antiques, coin collecting, woodworking, and tubing at Horseshoe Bend.

Although peanut butter and ice-cream were his favorite foods, he loved Jesus Christ and his family more. He was always willing to visit when time, distance and health allowed. Not afraid of hard work, Randy held several jobs, ending his career as a driver for UPS. Randy’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Survived by sons Brant and Chad; brothers Steve and Don, grandchildren Ethan (Ashley), Jacob, Kyle (Ciarra), and Levi; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Ariella, and Lillian; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Randy was well-liked and loved by so many.
Randy was preceded in death by his infant son Randall Scott Henderson, brother David, parents, and grandparents.
