Ralph Numan Bynum, Sr.

Ralph Numan Bynum, Sr. of Pasadena, Texas, age 78, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2019, in Pasadena, Texas. Ralph was born May 19, 1941 in Marquez, Texas to Richard William and Nora Bell Bynum.

Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris Gaylene Bynum. He is survived by his 4 children, Ralph (Corky) Bynum, Jr. and wife Ruth Ann of Deer Park, Tracy Mason and husband Jim Mason II of Pasadena, James Bynum and wife Kim of League City, Stephen Bynum and wife Laurie of Pearland; Ralph is additionally survived by 10 grandchildren, James Bynum, Jr and wife Leslie, Brian Johnson and wife Tifany, John Michael Bynum and wife Kim, Jim Mason III and wife Laura, Brent Johnson and wife Amy, Jennifer Pigott and husband Jason, Brandon Johnson and wife Amy, Michael Wayne Bynum, Justice Robinson, Dillon Chmarney, and Madelyn Chmarney; along with 17 great grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by his sister, Benita Taylor of Wills Point, Texas, along with numerous nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He loved his family unconditionally. Ralph enjoyed many years of square dancing and was a member of Strawberry Squares and Houston Square and Round Dance Council. Ralph was in the diesel repair business for many years. Later in life he also completed accident investigations. He will be so greatly missed.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Weimar Masonic Cemetery, Masonic Cemetery Rd, Weimar, Texas 78962, under the direction of Paul Corl.
