On the morning of October 18, 2022, at the age of 60, Patricia Collins received her wings and went to walk with the angels. Patricia was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away after a long-fought battle with cancer.
She was born to Clarence and Melvie Lee, on May 5, 1962, in Livingston, Texas; she spent her childhood in Corrigan and formative years in Conroe, Texas. Patricia met her husband, Freeman, while living in Humble Texas. They were married on April 8, 1982, and have been married for 40 years. She helped her husband raise two children: Jennifer and Adam.
In the summer of 2006, Patricia went to work for Pastor Lloyd Maddoux at Conroe First Assembly as the church secretary. She worked at the church for 12 years until she stepped away in the fall of 2018 to focus on her health and fighting cancer. She enjoyed her time spent working at the church, cultivating close friendships with the people she worked with. Those who knew her best can attest that she was loving, caring, and jovial. She had the ability to bring a sense of humor to any situation.
