Pamela Rymal Baxley of Dobbin, TX was born in Houston, TX on September 9, 1959 to Theodore and Mary Kathleen Rymal and passed away in Conroe, TX on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the young age of 62. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and dear friend. Although her time here on earth was cut short, her loving heart left a beacon of light on everyone she met.
Pamela grew up in Conroe, TX and graduated from Conroe High School in 1977. She spent many years working for Willis Bank and The City of Conroe before retiring to stay home and work for their family business. Pam’s pride and joy were raising Santa Gertrudis cattle for her grandchildren and other local children to show in the county fair and other shows nationwide. She spent many years volunteering with the Montgomery County Fair Association serving on the breeding beef committee. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and bonus grands, being known as the baby whisperer. Pamela was known by all with her beautiful smile, selfless energy, and ability to light up a room just being present.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Rymal, Jr. and Mary Kathleen Backil; and granddaughter, Corlyn Baxley. She is survived by her husband, James Baxley; and children, Alisa Herridge (Brad), Staci Harris, Blair Parr (Andy) and Daniel Baxley; grandchildren, Ashlyn Krizan (Luke), Colby Dueitt, Cody Herridge, Hailey Herridge, Mason Harris, Graelynn Harris, Leighton Parr, and Alana Baxley; great grandchildren, Braylynn and Beau Krizan; siblings, Theodore “Rudy” Rymal (Kelly), and Kim Mitchell (Roger). Pamela is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and her lifelong friend Diane Kapala with her adopted Weisinger family.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Lone Star Cowboy Church, 21627 Eva St, Montgomery, TX 77356. Pam will be laid to rest at 1 PM on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 with the Baxley Family in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Bentley, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Live Like Lily Foundation.
