Nora Roberts Rutter

Nora Rutter Roberts, 84, passed away on Thursday March 10, 2016 in Spring, Texas. Nora was born on May 10, 1931 in Sunderland, England to Robert and Florence Rutter. She is survived by her daughter, Karen R. Bailor and grandchildren Anderson Bailor of Alexandria, Virginia and Lauren Bailor of Fairfax Station, Virginia. Nora was the youngest of 6 children. Nora married the love of her life, Edward Lloyd Roberts on October 15, 1955. Ed and Nora immigrated to Canada early in their marriage, and eventually settled in Baytown, Texas. Nora and Ed were avid animal lovers, and poured that love into a dog grooming and boarding business which they owned and operated until they retired. Nora was devout to the Episcopal Church and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baytown, Texas and St. Thomas the Apostle in Nassau Bay, Texas for many years. Nora is preceded in death by husband, Edward Roberts; siblings: Florence Rutter Richardson, Robert Rutter, George Rutter, Raymond Rutter, and Rosalie Rutter Kubin.
