Natalie Paras Maniquiz Klepacz

July 27, 1970 — May 3, 2022

Natalie Paras Maniquiz Klepacz, age 51, passed away on May 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 27, 1970, in San Leonardo, Philippines. Natalie grew up in the Philippines with her parents and five siblings. She studied at the Polytechnic University of The Philippines and earned her bachelor's degree in psychology. In her late twenties, she moved to California with a few aunts and cousins from the Philippines, to start a new life in the United States. Soon after, Natalie planted her roots in La Porte, Texas where she met a lifelong group of Filipino friends. In 1999, Natalie met a handsome Navy seaman, her future husband, Walter Klepacz. The two hit it off right away and were married on April 1, 2000. After getting married, Walter and Natalie moved to the Houston area to settle down and start a family. In 2001, their eldest daughter, Kristina, was born, so they decided to relocate to The Woodlands, Texas. Six years later, their second daughter, Karina, was born. In 2002, the family became members of St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, giving as much of their time as they could for the next twenty years.

With two young daughters, Natalie wanted to create a business that would allow her to support her family and put her college degree to good use. Thus, The Magnolia House Assisted Living was built from the ground up. Walter and Natalie started the nursing home by themselves and took care of their patients and business every day, even keeping close contact with former patients' families after their passing. Natalie always made sure everyone felt her love and that everyone knew they were welcome. The Magnolia House continues to stand as a well reputable and successful business that Natalie’s family can carry on in her legacy. Everyone who knew Natalie will continue to carry her love and memories in their hearts.

Natalie was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter, Jr.; father, Mauro Maniquiz; and her sister, Carol Maniquiz Pascual. She is survived by her daughters, Kristina and Karina Klepacz; brothers, Rosauro (Bong) Maniquiz, Joseph Maniquiz, and Marius Maniquiz, sister, Melanie Maniquiz Dauz; and mother, Rosa Paras Maniquiz.
