Michael “Mike” David Johnson, age 67, passed away on August 27, 2020 in Conroe, Texas. He was born on April 14, 1953 in Galveston, Texas. As a child, he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, dove and duck hunting. He was also a member of the FFA at Cy Fair High School. He attended Vocational Trade School after graduation. Mike enjoyed reading about Texas history. He was a loyal Astros fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He firmly believed a dog was a man’s best friend, and his best friend was Mya. Mike was a master plumber and apprentice instructor. He was also a proud member of the Plumber’s Local Union 68. Mike was a firm Christian and was a member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Venita and Walter T. Johnson; and his precious dog, Mya. He is survived by his children, Michelle Johnson, Lacey Johnson; son-in-law, Michael Galloway, Jr.; grandchildren, Skyler Johnson, Michael Galloway III; brother, Walter T. Johnson III; his new puppy, Sassy; as well as many other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. The service will also be live streamed for those unable to attend at the link:
