Martha Ann Vaughan

Martha Ann Vaughan was born November 24, 1942 to Loyal Jack and Edrie Mae Walston in Houston, TX. She passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2016 at the age of 74. Martha was the baby of 10 kids, and was a lifelong loving child of God. She married Lonnie Earl Vaughan on January 31, 1959 and together they were blessed with 5 children, she loved to be a caregiver and mother to their children and taking care of the family home.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Lonnie Earl Vaughan, her parents Loyal Jack and Edrie Mae Cope Walston, sister Billie Sue Wells, brothers Sonny Walston, Albert Walston, Jerry Walston, and Larry Walston.

Martha is Survived by her sisters Mary Louise Wyatt, Joan Marie Milsaps, Jackie Bowers and Edrie Lee Snell, her daughters Velvet Philpot and husband Shannon, Kish Weiss and husband Herb, Chantell Wimberly and husband Jeremy, sons Marty Vaughan and wife Mischa, and Kevin Vaughan, along with fourteen grandchildren, Adrian Lynn Cramer, Heather Ann Englert, Ashley Brooke Dugat, Dustin Lee Philpot, Keegan Wayne Williamson, Kaitlin Daniel Williamson, Kinlee Annette Weiss, Skylah Shae Vaughan, Brooklyn Sage Vaughan, Presley Peyton Vaughan, Courtney Marie Hoskins, Laken Lonette Leleux, Kendall Renae Wimberly and Halo Reign Vaughan. Fifteen great-grandchildren, Hagen, Riley, Crey, Braden, Kylie, Kirstyn, Karlee, Addison, Brock, Cadence, Stassi, Turner, Levi, Everette and Baker along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved so much. Pastor Jay Snell will be Officiating.
