Marian Wade, 86, of Conroe, TX, passed away on September 21, 2022. Marian was born December 17, 1935, in Hamtramck, Michigan, to two Polish immigrants, Michal Godzisz and Mary Pilacienska. She was the 5th child in a family with seven children. She learned English as a second language when she entered public school. In 1955, she had her first child, Linda. Being a single mother, she took accounting classes and became an accounting clerk to be a better provider. All her brothers joined the military when she was younger, so it was no surprise that in 1974, she married a military man, Wesley. She loved traveling and enjoyed working at different bases. After Wesley retired, they continued traveling every year. She loved caring for animals and rescued many, usually having no less than four but sometimes as many as 20 in her home. She enjoyed gardening and felt most alive working in the yard, tending to her many flowers and trees, and growing fruit and vegetables. Her favorite time was Christmas, and would decorate inside and out with angels everywhere. Later in life, she mainly watched Hallmark Christmas movies year-round. She had a big heart and always tried to take care of everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband and all her siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Renee Wade and Linda Cox, grandsons Connor Wade and Chris Miller, and her great-granddaughters Mackenzie and Sydni.
