With heavy hearts, the family of Margaret Ann Henderson announces the passing of a beloved Mother and Mummy. She passed away unexpectedly at her home in Conroe, Texas on Friday, November 28th. She left us at the age of 81 after a life rich in joy, humor, and unforgettable moments. Her laughter-always bright and contagious- could fill a room and make everyone around her feel instantly welcome.
Margaret was born on November 1, 1944, in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Jay and Lola Mae Hollis. She graduated from Humble High School and spent many years working as a hairdresser. Even after she left the profession, many people got haircuts and advice in her home. Later, she began a new chapter as an oil and gas revenue accountant with Superior Oil Company, where she was known for her natural ability to connect with anyone. No matter where she was, she found a way to make people smile and share a story. Her family will forever cherish the lively Christmas Eve celebrations at her house - a treasured tradition that brought everyone together.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Gary Bryant, whose devotion and companionship were a constant source of strength and joy. She is survived by her son, Robert Boley and wife Jeri; daughter, Robin Holcomb and husband Mark; grandchildren, Laci Bohan and husband Clay, Regan Holcomb and wife Katelyn, Kaci Carter and husband Tom, Brady Holcomb and wife Annie. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Brack, Danli and Ben Bohan, Haize, Korley and Kaydence Holcomb; sister, Kimberly Ward; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by both parents; only brother, Jimmy Hollis; sister, Jeanette Burke; and great grandson, Nathan James Holcomb.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project. Her family and loved ones take comfort in knowing that her bright spirit, quick wit, and generous heart will live on in every memory she leaves behind.
