Lou Ellen Beasley

September 6, 1955 — February 17, 2025

Lou Ellen Mackey, 69, of Palacios, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was the wildest, most fun-loving soul who ever lived. She was a partner in crime, a best friend, and the ultimate PIC (partner in chaos). A woman who lived fully, loved fiercely, and never took life too seriously. Her laughter was contagious, her energy unforgettable, and her heart bigger than words could ever describe.

Her love for life was reflected in her passions. Whether she was attending rock concerts or swaying to Christian music, music was a constant joy in her life. She adored dancing—no one could resist the call of the music when Lou Ellen hit the floor. She also had a soft spot for her fish, showing her deep appreciation for the little things in life.

To know her was to understand what it means to truly embrace joy. She taught us that every moment was worth living, every connection worth cherishing, and every experience an opportunity to dance, laugh, and love deeply. There will never be another like her. Her spirit, laughter, and love will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know her.

She was a mother to five children and a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren. Her love only grew with the arrival of her three great-grandsons and the excitement of expecting her first great-granddaughter soon.

She is preceded in death by both parents, niece, Deborah Graeter, and grandson, Dustin Parmely. She leaves behind five children; twin sons, Ricky and Ritchie Brown; daughter, Charlotte Brown; daughter, Christina Brown; daughter, Aimee Dupree. Also, three siblings; Sister, Claudia Greater; brother, Ronnie Fisher; and brother, Kevin Fisher. Also, she leaves behind eleven grandchildren, three great-grandsons, and the excitement of expecting her first great-granddaughter soon.
