Linda Gail Johnson

LINDA GAIL (GRIGGS) JOHNSON, age 63, died unexpectedly on May 22, 2013. She was born on November 22, 1949 in Maryville, Tennessee the daughter of Helen McCoy Griggs and Major Martin Griggs (USAF), who served during WWII and the Korean and Vietnam Eras so the family moved regularly during her childhood. She graduated from Everett High School in Maryville and became a wife and mother right after high school adopting the traditional roles of the time. Having traveled early in life, she became accustomed to traveling and enjoying different locales learning that variety was the spice of life. Linda worked primarily in the food service distribution business to restaurants and worked for many of the major brands such as Sysco, Martin Foods, Imperial Sugar and Performance Food Group. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Martin Griggs. She is survived by son, William W. Johnson; granddaughter, Christina F. Johnson; sister, Beverly Griggs Reed; and her aunt, Eddie Barnes.
