Lily Mae Romanchuk, age 19, passed away peacefully with her parents at her side, on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Lily was born October 18, 2000, in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, to Brad and Lisa Romanchuk.
Lily graduated from high school in May and was so excited to be attending Oklahoma State University as a freshman, pursuing a double bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Accounting. There, Lily was a CASNR FIT student, an Alpha Xi Delta Sister, and a Loyal & True OSU Cowgirl.
During her teenage years, Lily developed a passion for serving others and working with livestock. She was active in American Heritage Girls, where she served as the Junior Troop Shepherd and in Montgomery-Dobbin 4-H, where she served as the club President during her senior year, as well as serving on the Junior Fair Committee for the Montgomery County Fair Association. Lily thoroughly enjoyed her time working at Chick-fil-A as a Team Member, where it truly was her pleasure.
She is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 17th at Crossroads Baptist Church, 5000 College Park Drive, The Woodlands, Texas. There will be a reception to follow.
