Leathon Kent Baxley

Leathon Kent Baxley, age 57, of Coldspring, Texas passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born June 15, 1964, in Alexandria, Louisiana to Wilbur R. and Jessie Louise Baxley. Kent had one son.

Kent grew up in the Houston, Texas area and eventually moved to Conroe. He worked in the family business, Backslee Air Conditioning Service, and later started his own business, Kent AC. He spent his last years living at his farm just outside of Coldspring, Texas.

His life was filled with being a father, a business owner, hunting, motorcycle riding and raising cattle.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilbur R. and Jessie Louise Baxley of Conroe, Texas. He is survived by his son, Trenton Allen Leathon Baxley of Willis, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marlon Baxley of Cypress, Texas, James Baxley and wife Pam of Montgomery, Texas, and Kerry Baxley and wife Pam of Coldspring, Texas; sisters and
brother-in-law, Celia Huntsman and husband Sandy of Nixa, Missouri, and Connie Baxley and Billie of Conroe, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him dearly.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 PM to 4 PM on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Northside Baptist Church, 701 FM 3083 W, Conroe, TX 77303. The burial will take place at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Bentley, Louisiana.
