Lawrence Allen Ray Norwood, 61, of Houston, passed away on March 23, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1961. His finished puzzle was a very beautiful and unique one. He picked up his trade as an electrician from his father, who passed along some important puzzle pieces to his son, teaching him love, compassion, and a good work ethic. His brothers and sisters gave him the pieces, that taught him to be tough and the willingness to forgive and forget. He was best known for always being the life of the party and having a smile on his face. He enjoyed helping people any way he could. He loved his family dearly. He made friends everywhere he went, and his friend and family were an important piece of this puzzle we call life. Life is a puzzle we all are unknowingly constructing as we live our day-to-day lives. On our journey through life, we pick up the new pieces that are needed to complete our puzzles and paint a beautiful picture of our life at the end that everyone can appreciate. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Juanita and Dorman (bud) Norwood, sister, Sandra. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Mattix; Amanda and her husband Danny Kelley; son, Matthew and his wife Jessica Norwood. grandchildren Nova Mattix; Victoria Mattix; Jonathan Mattix; Beaux Delgado; Payton Norwood; Jeremiah Norwood; brother Dorman Norwood; Jerry Norwood; sisters, Mona and husband David McGraw; Joyce and husband Don Tobola; Lillie Norwood; Nita Norwood; many other numerous friends and family.
