Laurence "Larry" Anthony Wilson, age 65, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on December 1, 2012. He was born on April 20, 1947, in San Francisco, CA. Larry grew up in California and received a Bachelor's degree from San Jose State University in 1970. While growing up in San Francisco, Larry developed what would become a lifelong love for playing chess. After graduating, he then began a three year service in the United States Army as a lieutenant, stationed in Virginia and in upper state New York. Upon discharge from the Army, Larry and his wife Terri lived for a brief time in Southgate, MI before moving to Conroe in 1975. Larry retired after a fulfilling career as a math teacher. For several years, Larry and Terri opened their hearts and home to foster children. Although they have all moved on, for a time, David, Allisha, Frank, Lupe, Randy, and Tammy each experienced Larry's love and care. Larry was also a member of the Montgomery County Tea Party. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Anne and Clay Wilson. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Teresa (Terri) Wilson; daughter, Dianne Wilson; son, Ed Wilson and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Kimberly, Brooke, and Nathan; brother, Ron Wilson and wife Violet; niece, Becca Adler and husband Chad; and Uncle John Mekisich, fondly known as "Unc."
