Larry Gene Warren, a radiant soul of 70 years, left this world on August 26, 2025, in Conroe, Texas, leaving behind a legacy woven with love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Born on January 25, 1955, in the heart of Houston, Texas, Larry was a beacon of warmth, preceded in death by his cherished parents, Dorothy Jean Carnethan and Newton Douglas Warren.

Larry’s life was a vibrant tapestry of devotion to his faith, family, his loyal companion Pugsley and the boundless beauty of the great outdoors. He was also known for uplifting the spirit of his friends, loved ones and even strangers, helping out whenever he could along the way.

Became a electrician at the early age of 16 before retiring from his dream job at Johnson Controls after leaving his mark on iconic projects across Texas and beyond including medical facilities, schools districts, military bases, places of worship, Toys "R" Us, Houston’s bold new downtown fire station, HP, and glittering casinos. With faith in God’s plan, Larry worked with intelligence and grit, forging deep friendships and embracing his role as a devoted father, husband and friend with boundless pride.

Though Larry has slipped beyond the horizon, his light shines eternal in the hearts of those he loved. He is survived by his beloved daughter Angela Warren; his son John and daughter-in-law Michelle Villarreal, whose children Justice, Mya, Madison, and John, along with great-granddaughter Illiana; his son Thomas and daughter-in-law Crystal Warren, whose daughters Aubree and Layla; his daughter (Departed) Nina Villarreal (Amara Balli), and her sons Orion, Aiden, and Silas; his daughter April Fowler (Villarreal), whose daughters Maribelle and Aaliyah; his brother (Depared) Stephen and Sister-in-law Sandra Warren (Law), whose children Adam Marcom, Joshua and Aaron Amador, Stephanie Wolfe; Youngest brother Kenneth and Sister-in-law (Departed) Michelle Warren, whose children LeAnna and Christopher Warren.

Larry Gene Warren’s life was a masterpiece of love, service, and connection, a melody that will echo through generations. He is not gone, but forever woven into the stories, smiles, and hearts of those who knew him.
