Kenneth (Ken) Waynne Warren

Kenneth (Ken) Waynne Warren, age 75, passed away at his home in The Woodlands on December 10, 2013. He was born in Dallas, TX on April 17, 1938. Ken grew up in Pleasant Grove, TX and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1956. He attended Texas Tech University and played for the Red Raider baseball team. He served his country as an Army Reserve before pursuing his professional career in the insurance industry. Ken opened his own company called Warren, Harris & Associates and later owned Warren General Agency. Ken found joy in the outdoors, spending his free time golfing and hunting, and he loved to dance. He was president of the Golf Association at Raveneaux Country Club in the 80's. Ken most enjoyed being around friends and family, sharing stories and good times. Ken was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Cinda Warren and his parents, Stanford and Henry. He is survived by his sons, Kelly Warren and wife Mona of Redington Beach, FL, and Scott Warren and wife Jenny of The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Avery and Cole Warren; brother, Terry Warren; and numerous relatives and friends.
