Kenneth Ray Maierhofer

Kenneth Ray Maierhofer, 68, passed away at his home on September 6, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father Ray Maierhofer; mother Elaine Deavers; and son Kenneth Ray Maierhofer Jr. Kenneth was born on September 7, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in San Antonio and Pasadena where his passion for horseback riding took root and led him to many trail rides. He attended college for some time and served four years in the U.S. Navy. In his professional career, Kenneth worked for Houston Lighting and Power and retired after 32 years. He was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion and also a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Fair Association, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. Kenneth is survived by his wife Lilia Vega-Maierhofer; children Ashley Young, Angie Galicia, and Victoria Garza; and many grandchildren.
