Kenneth F. Browder

Kenneth F. Browder, age 66, passed away on September 7, 2014 at his home in Old Waverly. He was born on November 15, 1947 in Highlands, Texas. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Sam Houston State University. He worked for HPD for 10 years before leaving to establish Browder & Son, an underground utility company. In November of 2010, he retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Ken loved spending time with his family at the beach in Sargent, Texas, and fishing and hunting at Browder Lake. He was quite often volunteered to be the head cook at fish frys.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Molly Browder; daughters, Kim Bartholet and husband Bret and Kendra Browder and fiancé Don Morgan; grandchildren, Cole and Logan Bartholet; aunt, Sally Atkins; and uncle, Morris Mullens and wife Mildred.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Angels in Action (local cancer ministry), 61 Slade Street, Coldspring, Texas 77331.
