Karen Michelle Woods

Karen Michelle Woods, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2016 after an accident. She was born on November 6, 1968 in Sheffield, Alabama and grew up in Russellville, Alabama and attended Tharptown High School. She spent most of her life working in manufacturing or as a retail sales clerk. Even though she recently moved to Texas, she was still a huge fan of Alabama football. She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Bobby woods, and her brother, Jeff Woods. She is survived by her sons, Bradley and Randy Doss; mother, Shirley Robison and husband Jerry; fiancé, John McLean; siblings, Kevin Woods and wife Lisa, Raymond Dotson and Tina Posey and husband Kenny; aunts, Eva Woods and Verlon Teiney; numerous nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and her faithful dog, Pistol.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County, 3440 Highway 157, Leighton, Alabama 35646, with Truman Sutton officiating.
