Joyce Maurine White, age 91, passed away in Conroe, Texas on January 4, 2018. She was born on July 26, 1926 in Elena, Texas. In 1935, she moved to Dickinson, Texas and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1943. She then met and married J.D. White, Jr in 1946.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Mildred Gilbert; twin sister Loyce Cartwright; and husband of 67 years J.D. White, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Cotter and husband Mike, son James Dee White III; grandchildren Lanis Cotter and wife Pamela, Autumn Brown and husband Matt, Jeff White and wife Bekah; siblings Hortense Fisher of Carrollton, Texas and Alton Gilbert of Kingsland, Texas.
