Josefina Martinez

Josefina “Margarita” Martinez was born March 22, 1937, in Tehuacán, Puebla. At the age of 16, she graduated as a dressmaker instructor and would go on to work in various clothing companies in Mexico City for the next 40 years. Josefina emigrated to the U.S. in the mid 90’s to live with her son and family in Houston, Texas, where she would remain until her passing.
Josefina Martinez, 85, passed away on November 15, 2022, in Humble, TX. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Mario Alberto Plascencia and Cynthia Guadalupe Plascencia, as well as extended family and friends. She was a devoted mother to her son until his passing in May 2022, and lived her remaining days with her grandson and his wife. She will be laid to rest next to her son on Saturday, November 26, at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
Josefina Margarita Martínez nació el 22 de marzo de 1937 en Tehuacán, Puebla. A los 16 años se recibio de modista, y continuaría trabajando como modista y supervisora en la Ciudad de México por mas de 40 años. Josefina emigró a los Estados Unidos a mediados de los 90 para vivir con su hijo y su familia en Houston, Texas, donde permanecería hasta su fallecimiento.
Josefina Martinez, de 85 años, falleció el 15 de noviembre de 2022 en Humble, TX. Le sobreviven sus dos nietos, Mario Alberto Plascencia y Cynthia Guadalupe Plascencia, así como familiares y amigos. Fue una madre dedicada a su hijo hasta su fallecimiento en mayo de 2022, y vivió los días restantes con su nieto y su esposa. Descansará junto a su hijo en Rosewood Memorial Park en Humble, Texas.
