JOHNNY McCARVER, a wonderful father and devoted husband, was called home to heaven at the young age of 41 for reasons that will never be fully understood. Johnny enjoyed life with a carefree yet grandiose style that hid a tender and caring heart, a heart that sadly failed him on March 3, 2013. He was most passionate about his daughter, Breea; son, Christian; mother, Marcy; and wife Reeane. Johnny delighted in making people laugh and was a true giver by nature. His charming smile and charisma were warming to all who met him. He had a natural ability to bring happiness to all those around him. He will be missed every minute of every day for the rest of our lives. He enjoyed training, working out and competing in bodybuilding. He won numerous titles and placed at numerous competitions, including a Mr. USA competition. He went on to pursue his passion for cooking and focus on his wife and daughter. He used his lifetime of fitness health knowledge in making customized meals through his business Johnny's Foods-4-You. A Houston Texans and Aggies fan, he enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and with his chocolate lab Nestle. He most enjoyed his time spent at the beach or near water with friends and family. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Reeane McCarver; his son, Christian McCarver; his daughter, Breea McCarver; mother Marsaline Kochack-Adams and husband Ace; father, Johnny McCarver; sisters, Shonna McCarver and Christine Hernandez; brother, Dock "Jamie " Richardson and wife, Angelique; Reeane's parents, Motchen and Jessie Hayes, and sister, Jandeen McElroyand her husband Jeremy McElroy; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends too numerous to mention but no less loved. Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church, 1245 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008, where a 2 P.M. funeral service will be held to celebrate his life and our love for him. A graveside service will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories at I-10 and Antoine. "A life that has made a difference in so many other lives will be remembered. A soul that has lifted up other souls and encouraged the climb will be honored. A person who turned the spirit of God's love into living action will be revered."
