John D. Sanders, Jr., age 68, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 surrounded by family at his home. He was born on April 2, 1943 in Houston and served his country in the US Air Force. John loved to help others and naturally inspired and mentored young people.John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Suzi Sanders; daughter, Denise Rene Tonner and husband, D.J. of Spring; sons, Shannon Sanders and wife, Karyl of Maui, HI and Darrin Sweat II and wife, Wendy of Conroe; grandchildren, Carrie Lynn Anderson, Michael Jay Sanders, Alice BrookeAnn Sweat and Faith LillyAnn Sweat; 3 great-granddaughters; mother, Erna Lee Sanders of Shenandoah; and sisters, Jessie Mackey of Grangerland and Cynthia Boyles of Shenandoah, and a multitude of extended family and friends.
